    英文摘要 From 2019 to 2022, the scientific research team collected and compiled county-level livestock data from key research areas across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, including the Yarlung Zangbo River and its tributaries, Hoh Xil, Qiangtang Plateau, southeast Tibet, the source of the Three Rivers, the southern slope of the Qilian Mountains, and the Qaidam Basin. The livestock carrying capacity data is derived from statistical surveys in counties across the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. This data was spatially weighted using population data to derive the spatial distribution of livestock carrying capacity (Unit: standard sheep unit per hectare, SU ha⁻¹). The completion of this dataset provides essential data support for developing grassland-livestock balance zoning plans at the regional level, optimizing the layout of livestock industry development, and establishing scientific grassland classification governance and management systems.
