    英文摘要 Soil animals generally refer to animals that live in the soil all or in a certain life stage. The narrow definition does not include large animals such as mammals. Large soil animals generally refer to soil animals with a body larger than 2 mm. Soil animals play an irreplaceable role in the material circulation and energy flow in the ecosystem. Therefore, the investigation and research of soil animals is an important part of ecological research. The photo collection of large soil animals in the arid desert area on the northern slope of the Qilian Mountains-Hexi Corridor (2019-2020) includes photos of common large soil animals in the area. The photos of this dataset are from the comprehensive soil survey in the arid desert area on the northern slope of the Qilian Mountains-Hexi Corridor in 2019. This data set is of great significance for improving the cognition of soil animals in desert areas.
